NCCWSL 2024
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is dedicated to promoting justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) in all aspects of our work. We deeply value and acknowledge the significance of the valuable opportunities provided by the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL). Hence, we take immense pride in offering up to 100 scholarships annually, aiming to ensure that a diverse range of individuals can benefit from this empowering and transformative experience.
After the scholarship decisions have been made, our dedicated staff will reach out to the awardees. To officially accept the scholarship, the awardees must follow the simple steps outlined in our system. It’s crucial to ensure that the acceptance process is completed correctly, as this will guarantee the validity of the scholarship. The deadline for scholarship applications is February 4, 2024.
We understand that waiting for the final decision can be a bit nerve-wracking, but fret not! Starting from March 2024, the accepted scholarship recipients will receive their final notifications throughout the month. In case of any unfortunate rejections, we will notify the applicants on or before April 1, 2024.
AAUW is committed to providing both full and partial national scholarships, based on availability. Please note that these scholarships do not cover travel or other additional expenses. We will prioritize the allocation of full scholarships first, and once acceptances are confirmed, we will award a limited number of partial scholarships.
We kindly remind everyone that the scholarships are non-transferable. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Our dedicated team is eager to assist you in making your NCCWSL experience possible!
Since attending NCCWSL, I’ve been afforded opportunities to speak all over the country, and recently, I had the chance to speak at the White House about the health of trans women in my home state of Mississippi. I would never have had the courage to speak up if I had not applied for a NCCWSL scholarship.
