Women to Win
The Women & Politics Institute's Campaign College: AU Women to Win, run in conjunction with the American University Student Government's Women's Initiative, is one of the first programs in the nation to train college women to run for elected office and to participate in student government. The program provides students with the necessary leadership skills to be involved in campus politics and hopes to inspire future women candidates for local, state and national office. At this special morning session, students learned about running a successful campaign for student government and how to bring the model of Campaign College to their school to build future student women leaders.
