College/University Partner Membership Program

With more than 500 members, the AAUW College/University Partner Membership Program is composed of leading institutions committed to fostering educational equity while providing growth opportunities for students, faculty, and staff.

AAUW partners enjoy the following benefits:

  • Fellowships, grants, and awards that enhance opportunities for women. Give your students and faculty access to more than $4 million in fellowships, grants, and awards made available annually by the AAUW Educational Foundation.
    • American Fellowships support women doctoral candidates completing dissertations or scholars seeking funds for postdoctoral research leave from accredited institutions.
    • Selected Professions Fellowships are awarded to women who intend to pursue a full-time course of study in a degree program in which women’s participation has traditionally been low.
    • International Fellowships are awarded for full-time study or research to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
    • Career Development Grants support women who hold a bachelor’s degree and are preparing to advance their careers, change careers, or re-enter the work force.

  • Leadership and professional development resources. Provide women on your campus opportunities to strengthen their leadership and professional skills through AAUW conferences, seminars, and internships.
    • The National Conference for College Women Student Leaders, an AAUW event where young women share experiences and learn new skills. A 15 percent registration discount is available to members.
    • Opportunities to serve on planning committees and awards panels and in other leadership posts at the AAUW state and local branch level.
    • Access to a national network of professional women whose members can mentor, assist in job searches, and facilitate relocation.
