Fight for Fair Pay
Expect the Unexpected
Equal Pay Day
April 17, 2012
From the corner office to the corner store, women work hard for their money — only to be paid on average 23 percent less than men. Equal Pay Day symbolizes this gap by marking the day when women's salaries finally catch up to what men earned in 2011.
On April 2, just 10 days before Equal Pay Day 2011, local students, retirees, working folks, and activists mobbed the National Mall to demand fair pay. Help us raise awareness of unfair pay by sharing this video and taking action.
Together, we can make a difference for American women and their families.
