Jayne SchmittAAUW will join the 2008 International Women's Leadership Conference as the Platinum Sponsor of the luncheon and the keynote speech by Jayne Schmitt that will take place on Wednesday, September 24. Schmitt is vice president and CFO of the Customer Solutions Operating Group for BAE Systems, Inc., the nation’s sixth-largest defense company. AAUW is proud to sponsor Schmitt’s presentation, focusing on equity issues, leadership and her professional experiences.

Now in its fifth year, the conference will also feature other distinguished speakers from 11 nations, including: Kristie Kenney, U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines; Alison Spencer, IBM’s manager for organizational culture and change; and Aduei Riak, a Sudanese genocide survivor.
