College/University partners work with AAUW at the local, state, and national levels to promote equity. Partners collaborate with branches on community programs; take advantage of leadership and diversity programs for this students, faculty, and staff; receive national visibility; and benefit from AAUW's powerful network that supports them and advocates on their behalf.

With more than 500 members, the AAUW College/University Partner Membership Program is composed of leading institutions committed to fostering educational equity while providing growth opportunities for students, faculty, and staff.

  • NEW! As an AAUW College/University partner member, all of your students would be immediately eligible for FREE e-student affiliate status. Eligible students are undergraduate students who do not already have a bachelor's degree. C/U partner students who take advantage of this offer will have access to AAUW's exciting portfolio of benefits, including our student leadership development resources and groundbreaking research.     • The National Conference for College Women Student Leaders, an AAUW event where young women share experiences and learn new skills. A 15 percent registration discount when you send four or more students.
    • The Campus Action Project initiative — AAUW awards grants of up to $5,000 to campus teams made up of students and faculty or administrators to implement projects on campus addressing a range of issues to promote equity.

  • Fellowships, grants, and awards that enhance opportunities for women. Give your graduate students and faculty access to more than $4.5 million in fellowships, grants, and awards from the AAUW Educational Foundation.
    • American Fellowships support women doctoral candidates completing dissertations or scholars seeking funds for postdoctoral research leave from accredited institutions.
    • Selected Professions Fellowships are awarded to women who intend to pursue a full-time course of study in a degree program in which women’s participation has traditionally been low.
    • International Fellowships are awarded for full-time study or research to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
    • Career Development Grants support women who hold a bachelor’s degree and are preparing to advance their careers, change careers, or re-enter the work force.

  • Stronger community relationships. As an AAUW college/university partner member, you have the opportunity to connect with one of our 1,000 local branches to collaborate on initiatives relevant to your community.
